ABOUT

ME

Passionate About Inspiring Others

I am a strong believer in every person's ability to change and grow. My mission is to help people improve their design research capabilities so they can make the world a better place.

Over the past 20 years, I’ve built and applied my own skills on enterprise, mobile and cloud-based products, mentored hundreds of people, transformed a company culture and built employee’s capabilities in Experience Design, Design Research and Design Thinking methods.

I have a passion for mentoring and helping people find and leverage their strengths. I am particularly fond of helping people get into the field of Experience Design Research, grow skills and influence, identify career paths to transform their careers.

I also help teams overcome challenges, craft compelling visions, align decisions, connect deeply with each other and their customer, explore broader possibilities and move faster.

I'm always looking for new methods, new ideas and new strategies for helping people grow, inventing new experiences and improving existing ones.

I was one of the founding Innovation Catalysts at Intuit, and ran the Innovation Catalyst program and drove design thinking across the company for 10 years. Prior to that, I worked as a Design Researcher and Strategist, focused on improving the quality of the research we were doing at Intuit.  I also worked as an Experience Designer and Researcher at Remedy, Motorola, Lucent and Philips Consumer Communications.  Across all of these roles, I have always mentored and coached others to improve their empathy, their research skills, and their presence.
